FREE ORIENTATION OF ZAMBIA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY MEMBERS ON CHILD RIGHTS AND BUSINESS PRINCIPLES
Dear Members,
In line with the objective of the MoU that was signed between Zambia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ZACCI) and Zambia Civic Education Association (ZCEA), ZCEA would like to orient members of ZACCI based in Lusaka on the 10 United Nations Child Rights and Business Principles (CRBPs).
ZACCI members are cordially invited to attend this orientation for them to recognize the need for an explicit child rights perspective and guide businesses on how to prevent and address risks to children’s rights
The rationale is to make the most of the positive impacts that businesses have the potential to make on supporting children’s rights and to lessen the negative impact that businesses would likely have on children’s rights.
